Page plans:
To the end that I may achieve a page that contains whatever the above entails, I will uhhh the uhhhh
This is the last page I added plans to before bed, as you can tell I am getting tired.
Here's a spitball list of stuff I might yap about here
There is a world where time doesn’t reign
Where the sun never sets, yet rises again
Where temporary is a memory, and gone is all gone
Where “back then” isn’t lost, and “someday” is won
We yearn for this world, always just out of sight
It’s somewhere out there beyond getting things right
Closer and closer, a little further, and then
As it always goes, we find, each happy night ends
We work and we play and we yearn and we strive
We spend every dollar and save every dime
We break all our backbones in honest pursuit
Of the now that we know must one day bear fruit
We wish and we crave and we willingly slave
For the now that eludes us into the grave
Where the shadows grow and the roots dig deep
Over memories that are now others’ to keep
We rest here a while, awaiting the end
Wishing no more, with nothing to tend
No business on earth, save our prayers from beyond
They’ll need them who still, for now, press on
Ages and ages and ages shall pass
Until one fine age is destined the last
The beginning of now when time stands still
When Christ descends upon that hill
At last, our breaths are as if our first
At last, no more sorrow, nor loss, nor thirst
At last, it is now, and it always shall be
At last, the final answer to humanity’s plea
And this, the beginning of ages to come
These without end, without passage or sum
These without boredom, longing, or strife
These without fearing the end of life
But for now, my dear soul, consolation is due
For while all of this is undoubtedly true
For now we are here is this lifetime malaise
Where time holds a rope at the end of the maze
Hear this, dear soul, and take it to heart
While we wait for the now we are longing to start
A little of now can be found on the way
One need only to stop, to be still, and to pray.
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, visible and invisible.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only-begotten Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven,
was incarnate from the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary,
and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father [and the Son],
who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.
